Our client is a professional organization that specializes in distribution of food and non-food products. The company has more then seventeen warehouses throughout the entire country. For their warehouse in the Schiphol region we are looking for a motivated warehouse employee that wants to strengthen the current team.
What does the daily work of a warehouse employee consist of?
As a warehouse employee you will work five days a week between Monday and Sunday. Every day trucks are distributing food and non-food products throughout the entire nation, it is your job to make sure that the cargo is ready to be loaded when the truck driver arrives at the dock. You do this by sorting out the preloaded trolleys and bringing them to the right dock. Also you will be handling the returning cargo consisting of empty crates and trolleys which you will sort and bring to the right area in the warehouse. The hourly gross wage for the warehouse employee job is between €12,06 and €12,59. When you work in the weekend you will be compensated as well, 150% on saturdays and 200% on sundays. Warehouse employees work in shifts, the hours you work between 19:00 and 06:00 get paid extra as well, varying from 125% to 150%.
